Love Web Design, Using our Website

If you find any problems, error(s) or have any difficulties in navigating this website please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing us at info@lovewebdesign.co.uk.

Customising Our Web Site

There have been no special provisions made for customising this website. This is due to the fact that where possible all code uses relative units where possible and as a result of this you should be able to use your browser to customise our website.

NOTE:  Due to the relative units, should you increase the text size the main navigation areas at the top right and left hand side of the page(s) will wrap to avoid loss of content.

A natural tab order is present throughout this site, therefore a tabindex has not be added to the code.

NOTE:  If you would like information on how to customise your browser settings, we have provided this information on the following page: Browser Information.

Access Keys

We acknowledge that some people require the use of these, and as the use of these varies between browsers we are assuming that if you need to use these you will know how to operate them in your own environment.

The following Access Keys are available throughout this web site:

  • Accessibility Page - Access Key = A
  • Home Page - Access Key = 1
  • About Love Web Design - Access Key = 2
  • Contact Love Web Design - Access Key = 3
  • Portfolio - Access Key = 4
  • Web Services - Access Key = 5
  • Site Map - Access Key = 6
Design

Our web site uses Cascading Style Sheets or CSS for layout and presentation.

Browsers that do not support CSS will show the same content but without the design.

Validation

This website is written with Valid XHTML1.0 Strict and Valid CSS 2.1

This website currently conforms to The WCAG 1.0 Guidelines, Priority 1 (Level A), with manual warnings which have been addressed.

We are hoping to further develop this website by removing the Priority 2 and 3 Manual Warnings. This page will be updated in due course. (date: 23/10/09 - Andrew Hall).

This website has been checked for colour contrast between background and foreground items and this was found to be above the required levels.

This site has been tested and appears as we had hoped using Lynx Viewer.

We have added no moving or flickering images to this website.
